Matthew 7
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
Lesson material for tonight. What does it mean to judge? Why do I have aplank and they have a speck? Is is even possible to help others? What if they don't want to be helped? |

| Wow! I just read John 4:19-20 and I remembered the insight that I read in the devotional Experiencing God. It really is simple to do God's will! watch this all I have to do is change the name in the verse and I have a formula for do God's stuff.
John 4 19-20 "I tell you the truth, Dave can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does Dave also does. For the Father loves Dave and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.
Cool? I think so!
Formula:
- I can do nothing by myself.
- I should only do what I see the Father doing.
- Whatever God is doing is what I should do.
- God loves me and will show me what He is doing.
- Working with God leads to greater and Greater work.
Awesome Dude! |
